I purchased 2 pairs of neo paws booties (the less expensive ones) from pet value. I got her the XS+ for both back and front paws. As soon as i put them on her she would not move. She just stared at me like, your not actually serious are you? I was just laughing and trying to get her to chase me. Then i pulled out "THE leash" she lifted one paw then put it right back down and started whinning. I opened the front door and she let out a yelp. Not gonna lie i felt bad but I just had to push her. She still didnt move so i attached the leash to her martingale and yanked and she came. She was walking with all feet flyin up sideways. It really was halarious. Got her out side, then she decided to chase me when i ran across the front lawn. She tripped over her feet and went rollin through the wet grass, poor thing. Then once her feet hit the pavement its like her legs went into over drive. She couldnt stop running. Sheltie smile and all she was pulling me as I attempted to sprint behind. It seemed like she had SO much energy. I had fun just watching her!
Anyways she didn't want to come inside when we got home. She was having to much fun. I didnt expect this at all so i thought i would share! The neo paws were a huge hit!
 
We tried the "boots" last year during the snow and Cali hated them! She looked like a cat with tape on its feet when she walked. I felt so bad for laughing but it was really funny to see :lol: They ended up being slicker and harder to walk in for her around icy areas so we did away. I was afraid her paws were going to get frostbite, but even after being outside for almost a hour in and out of the snow she was fine so I won't torture her again this year :)
 
Is there a special reason you got her boots? Foot problems or just fashion. Go to youtube you'll laugh all day at pups and boots. They all have the same walk kicking legs out to the side.:lol:
 
The weather here can get as low as -(minus) 52 celcius. There were two days last year that brandon was the coldest place in the ENTIRE world on that day. They salt the streets alot as well which could erritate thier paws. This will be her first winter, she has seen snow as we got her in the spring but not a manitoba winter:dead:
