Lacey smells

I think we have figured it out.. She is eating cat poop, but not from the litter box! One of our cats does not use it. I think she gets it in the yard. Since she got in trouble for eating poop from the litter box she figured she could not get the tootsie rolls from there, but the ones in the yard are ok to eat. Now I need to figure out how to keep her away from those.

Yuck! Nothing worse than a puppy coming to love on you with kitty poop breath! I'm sure there are worse things, but this is really bad!!!

Tully's been doing that lately too. Just the last year, and she's 7yrs old so I don't know why she's started up. My older cat won't use the kitty litter and only toilets in the yard so I think it's that poop. Plus I have caught her digging up things on walks. I'm used to mine eating roo poo, and Deska's taken to eating rabbit poo lately, since we don't go bush walking now he can't get to the roo poo. But rabbit and roo poo doesn't give them rotting corpse breath like the cat poo does.

So I know what you mean about the smell - it's horrendous. And Tully's a licker so you can imagine how that goes down. Brushing her teeth doesn't seem to help but a meaty bone that takes a while to chew on (like a shank) seems to do the trick.

Oh BLEH. Mine will go after the cling-ons that get outside the gated off cat area occasionally. :ick

Cubby is particularly fond of licked the cats' behinds and everyone's ears too. I am fine with the ears but I shriek about the behinds. Last cats in our lives, I can tell you . . . ages 8, 8, and 7.

I just don't know where she is getting the cat poop from. We have looked all over the yard and just don't see where the cat is going.

Let me correct that. There are all these little holes in the dirt. She is going on a cat poop hunt, finding and eating it. EWWW!

How can I stop this?
