Chip never used the "Herding" instinct to our knowledge, may have been because he didn't have time with us messing with him all the time. Not so with Laddie. Wife had put Laddie out in their play yard and porch, Chip didn't wish to go. Left door open, Laddie came back in and promptly Herded Chip out the door.

Laddie on a leash, Chip walking with me as usual out to get the Sunday paper at the mailbox. Must have been something in the air, Laddie was giving me a fit on the leash and Chip wouldn't listen to me. Got the paper, Chip didn't want to return to the house with me, of course bull head (Laddie) didn't either. I picked up a little stick in the yard and swished both of them. Chip looked at me as though to say, "You didn't really do that did you daddy?" Laddie just sat down and stared at me. Had a bad time getting them back to the house when I was ready, they wished to "Fiddle."

As a consequence I was aggravated at them all afternoon and they kept turning their backs on me.

Anyway, they are doing some cute things together.

First pic" How the heck can you get angry at that?

Second pic: Cutesy Face.

Third pic: Friends/Brothers

Fourth pic: As close as you will get to a doggie kiss, for now.

Oh Boy!
