Laser crazy

Be careful with the laser pointers. Chasing laser lights have been known to cause OCD and shadow chasing in dogs.

I was just about to mention that until I saw your post. I saw something on tv about some people who played with a laser with a dog and he developed ocd and chased all light things.

They are also very dangerous because they cause my inner child to come out as I will point the laser at my boyfriend's crotch and let Crouton pounce! He can't get mad at her and I'm already running away.

Crouton better not weigh what Sca does :eek2:

I think some dogs are OK but Sca is not one of them. He gets totally obsessed with the dot WAY to fast. So last night we played frisbee then trying to catch tennis balls (he got it clean about 4 times )

Initially I thoroughly dismissed the possibility that laser pointers cause OCD, until I thought about my oldest (who had the most exposure to the laser) he chases any light-type reflection, such as that off of a CD, a flashlight, etc.

Interesting...

Got me there! Guess I will think twice about using it.
