Lil' Lady Barking: Stop Rain

the current pack isn't really bothered by the rain- if they have to go, they'll go out. if they just want out to run around and it's raining, they'll say that they can wait.
Callie, on the other hand, was the same as Spirit- don't get those feet wet.....
One of the tropical weather events that we had, I had to put on her raincoat and mine and get the umbrella and took her out on leash during a lull as she'd gone 12 hours without going out. she found that an acceptable compromise but she wasn't happy about it...........

Hmmmmmm, I haven't thought about a raincoat for her. Though she would probably want a raincoat, hat, and boots.
 
Monday and Tuesday no rain, Lil' Lady will not like the yard but she will go on the patio and
be the patio guard. When we had the rain the patio was really wet even with the cover.
We will have a break the two days then back to rain this week.
Lil' Lady barks we are not having fun.
 
Oh Beau doesn't mind the rain one bit. In fact he dashes through the mud puddles as though nothing different. He gets sopping wet--no problem. Now maybe this is because I trained him early on to like swimming pools and showers? Or maybe it is just my Beau :sneaky: Because Shadow would only go out in the rain long enough to pee and dash back in--he almost never got his paws dirty, and stood happily to have them cleaned and dried. Beau loves a mess! (and he doesn't like his feet cleaned at all LOL) But I am happy to say he has taken pretty well to his mud PJs.
 
She says that she does not want to wear an additional layer when she goes outside no matter how much it might keep her dry :-(
