Limping Ian

Lyme occurred to me too. I don’t know how prevalent it is in your area but it’s certainly something to test for if the limp is persistent. My first exposure to it years ago was with puppy Barkley who we tested and X-rayed endlessly for a hind leg limp that ended up being Lyme.
Pretty tick free here. Farm could be different. I am pretty sure he pulled something being a lunatic (he excels at it). He is mostly better but if he lays down for a while sometimes he favors it. I suspect some of it now is that it did hurt so he is cautious.
