Lotsa peeing

Hi all,,

Our little 14 week old girl,,, is sure peeing alot ,, i mean 20 times a day easy.. We trained her to ring a bell to go out,, and that thing is dinging almost constantly when we are home..
I know sometimes its just togo out and play,, but she pee's alot also... and stiill has no warning accidents inside.. Im feeding her all life stages Acana regionals (grain free).. and now starting to worry maybe the protein is to high for her, if that has anything to do with increased urination.. not sure..

quite a bit of water... not sure how to measure that... havnt taken her to the vet yet..
 
Yup, get a sample to the vet (I put a ladle under Skyla's butt and then used a non needle syringe to get a sample, but a little bowl with a lid would probaly work just as well). Skyla had diluted urine (you could see the pee wasnt as yellow as it should have been) from her treats we were giving her for training. This made her have to pee often. The urinalysis is cheap, so I would get in a sample as soon as you can!
 
When Mystique was having similar issues I got the great advice from Sheltie Nation to take a urine sample in (and the ladle works awesome). She had lots of bacteria and blood in her urine...a quick course of antibiotics and no problems since. Hope your little gal feels better soon.
 
well ,, Fritters urine came back good,, and she just had the rest of her shots.. but she is still peeing like crazy,, usually only when shes active though, sometimes 5-10 times a hour.. there is some concern now,, although our vet said she was fine.. is there any known bladder issues with small female puppys ?
