So...

I took three of my dogs for their bi-annual HW/Lyme tests today. I do it every other year because they are not a high risk group. One of my dogs has tested positive, been symptomatic, and been treated for Lyme. The other dog tested positive two years ago, was never symptomatic, and never treated.

Both dogs came back negative today. :biggrin2:

Let's hear it for kick-*** immune systems!!!!

This is great news, Rachael! I am so happy to hear that they tested negative. UGH...Lymes Disease can be such a nightmare.

I bought a 50 lb bag of food grade diacetimous earth (cost more to have it shipped than to buy it) and my project this weekend is to get it spread in the dog areas. I'm hoping it cuts the tick population this year. Stay tuned!

How awesome. :smile2:

I just tested all 10 of Rachel and I dogs and everyone came back negative for Lyme and Anaplasmosis. It made my week. Pike had anaplasmosis 3 yrs ago.
