Maia's new agility slip leash!

I have to chuckle. And I feel bad for not sharing this information either. I have had a custom magic pocket from this woman since I started agility (about 1.5 yaers ago). My instructor knew about her and stocked her daycare with tons of toys. I got all excited when you posted and looked at the website and thought, this is the lady I got my rabbit thing from. She's got leads now? Cool!!!

She makes awesome toys. For me, the only thing I had to get reinforced (after the fact) was the velcro as it was pulling away from the toy. Thankfully, my instructor sews, cuz I don't. lol. Otherwise, it's held up, it's all slobbery. I'm assuming I can wash it, but haven't.

As with Maia, it's the only tug toy Koji will really play with. Especially in class. BTW I got mine with two squeakers...Koji could care less. LOL. Enjoy the toys. They are wonderful!

Now, to check out the slip leads. I have one I use for his "potty" time, but it's a standard leash with a loop, instead of a clip. These are more fun!
 
That's great to hear! The slip lead she made me is not pictured on her site. She made it custom for me. I made it up - I thought, since Maia likes the rabbit, that would be good to incorporate into the leash, and since she likes to bite on 'tassels' she could make part of the leash with those too - and she did just that!

When you say that the velcro was coming apart on the magic pocket, do you mean the part that opens the pouch? My mom sews, so I can get her to reinforce it.

I cannot wait to see the rest of the toys I ordered! (Listen to me, I'm just as excited about these toys as a kid at Christmas AND they aren't for me! :lol:)

Shame on you for keeping this from us!!!!!:razz: Imagine the fun toys I could have already had and the money I could have saved on buying other toys that Maia wants nothing to do with!!!! :winkgrin::wink2:

Just kidding - but in the future SHARE these things with us!!! We love new toys!!!!!

Oh yeah, she's wonderful. I know my instructor just stocked up with a ton of new toys of hers.

Yes, the part that opens the pouch. It was pulling away from the canvas. My instructor just resewed it and reinforced it with even more thread. Since you figure, you pull it open a lot. Well, I do. Heck, my treat bag is falling apart. Velcro is falling off, metal thing on the inside isn't working. Time for a new bag.

I'm grateful Koji hasn't ripped off the fur yet. My instructors lab has shredded a few of them already. It's sad when the fur is hanging off. It's like, poor rabbit. LOL

In my defense, I don't think I was really on the board at the time. And I honestly didn't even think about it, even though I use it every week. {smacks forehead}

I promise to forever alert Sheltie Nation viewers of any fun toys I come across. Or great vendors.
