What fix are we talking about....the error message, or Jessica's original question? I've had her original issue ever since we changed how new posts are displayed 6 or so months ago. I've always just ignored it.

I think you misunderstood my problem. I just kept getting an error message, and it was not allowing me to make the forums read at all. I think a lot of us were getting it. It is fixed for me now. My problem is not the same as Barb's problem.

I think you misunderstood my problem too. I was only commenting on Smudge's original comment that she gets the message "The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts."

I get that too, but I usually just ignore it.

I was not questioning the decision from way back. But to Jessica's point, if I mark them as read, these should go away shouldn't they?
