Well, it was quite the weekend! We went to the UKC show in Simpsonville KY, and I ended up entering Caleb, Gael, and my 3 month old pup Lark. It was a really quality packed show, with many nice dogs, several who are also on the way to their AKC CHs. Caleb ended up winning 3 champion classes, 2 best of breeds, a group 2, and a group 1. He also now only needs 1 more competition win to finish his grand championship. Gael ended up taking her class and best female to finish her UKC championship, and won the champion class once. Lark ended up taking a best novice puppy. We had a sheltie breeder judge (this man is very good at evaluating structure and movement, and was mentored by someone who taught him well), and he told me she is exceptional. He said she has wonderful structure and movement, and that I should be very proud of her. He told me to mark his words, she'd finish her grand in UKC by 18 months old. All in all, it was a great weekend, and I'm very happy with my dogs.
