Ah poor boy. While I generally love drawing blood from the jugular vein, I have long ago given it up on Shelties. Most of them are impossible due to the fur and the way the veins seem to set in the neck. I don't have this issue any other breed seriously even Collies. My boy Justice has the worse jugular veins ever. I used to joke when we were hiring a new tech if they could find and hit his neck vein they were hired. Even my friend Rachel who can draw blood from almost any vein won't try anymore.

Glad the neuter went well. thoughts for speedy healing.:smile2:
