Mdr1 ????

I do too think that testing for MDR is important for the life of the dog, there are lots of other meds pup can be more sensitive so extra caution never hurts. Test is easy to do at home and results are back within couple of weeks.

I agree, I ordered test kit and I will do it when I get it. I would like to have the peace of mind of knowing if he carries that gene or not.

I ordered the test friday afternoon and recieved it in the mail on Monday I was very impressed with how fast that was!!! Also I did it (on Monday) but my brushes didn't look different is that ok? Hope it worked lol or that 70 dollars was for nothing. I could see saliva and such on the end of the brushes but they didn't change color like the form said they would. I cannot wait to get my results back!!!

I have tested 11 dogs and only 3 turned color. The inside of their mouths were not very pigmented so I think that was the deal. All of the tests worked.

That's great!!! So I didn't mess it up...lol I followed the instructions so I figured it was ok, but I'm glad to hear you had the same result and they were able to do the test.
