Actually I have three :lol: He is still learning that car rides are fun though.:smile2:
 
Actually I have to decide on his ears, they are standing up today. Either way he is fantastic but if I am going to tip them I need to redo it now. Not 100% sure how long before it is permanent though (and if it ever is). If it is not ever permanent I think he will be a point ear guy. Also I was wondering if pointed ears are easier to keep clean :confused2:

I would say not.

I would make your decision on whether you want tipped ears or don't care. Your choice entirely.

I personally prefer the perfect ear but have learned to live with "Eeeyore" (Bacca, my hound dog) and "Devil" (Indy with mostly pricked ears, though small)

Someday I might get a pup with perfect ears! Sigh!

I actually had a vet tell me that the pointy ears were better from a health standpoint. The air can circulate better. Dogs with hound ears have more issues with infections because the ears keep the ear canals covered. And I'm talking about beagles, dachshunds, cocker spaniels.

Seems to me that I kept Lacey's tipped until she was seven month old. But the breeder already had been working on her ears. And I actually didn't get her till she was 16 weeks. I believe there also was a video on you tube on how to glue ears. But ask your breeder, she will definitely know how long you need to keep the ears glued.

And on the motorcycle note. When I was about 10 I trained my Yorkie to ride perched on the gas tank of my little Honda 50. She would basically set between my legs. She loved her rides.

16 weeks today :cool: Last night he figured out he can run and leap right into the recliner. Not a real good thing but he was pretty proud of himself and just sat there a bit before going down for more furry terrorist work.
