Meadow's surgery is Monday

Thank you all - they just called to say they are starting her surgery now, I had assumed she'd be first because Elijah was but not so. It's been he*l waiting around I can tell you. Will post again when I have some news. Keep those prayers coming - I've been pretty good until we had to leave her and then I cried....
 
YAY!!!!!! She's done, it went great, zero issues or complications, 1 hour 40 minutes instead of the 5 flippin' hours it took for Elijah! Vet was SO happy and relieved. She did great under anesthesia, and was waking up but has a boatload of pain meds so she'll be groggy. They will let me know tomorrow morning if she can come home tomorrow afternoon or needs to stay another night. Hopefully she'll be home tomorrow, but whatever it takes.

THANK YOU all so very much for encouragement, prayers, kind thoughts and good karma. We really needed a "win" right now. Poor Faith is really at her end time and I have felt a tremendous burden juggling all these health issues simultaneously.....
 
I’m so happy to hear you got that phone call Sharon! That was the highest moment of my day with Piper so I can imagine how you must’ve felt getting that!
I’m so very sorry Faith is losing her battle…you’ve got a lot on your plate with two major surgeries and Faith being sick.
Sending hugs to you and I hope Meadow is home as soon as possible!

What a relief it must be Meadow is done and doing well. I hope you can take a breath before she comes home. I'm so sorry Faith is declining. There's never a good time to walk that path, but after the challenges you've had lately, it's even tougher. We're here for you, sending strength and comfort. :hugs
