Merlin fell in the Duck Pond (hehe)

ROFLMBO, thanks labgirl and Merlin, that is the best laugh I've had all day, such a tragic walk of shame! I see the stink eye Merlin is giving you, as if to say, "This better NOT end up on facebook!" :o
 
Ha, ha, ha! He looks abashed all right. Ally once leaped into a pond for some unknown reason, and sank out of sight. I was just about to dive in after her when she surfaced, and very calmly and nonchalantly swam to the edge and got herself out, like she had PLANNED to do it..... I was cracking up until I realized she was gonna need a bath.....:rolleyes2:
 
Yes, I laughed until I realised I had to take him home in the car like that:ick

He gave the ducks a nasty glare, but apparently didn't think about shaking over me:biggrin2:

Good job this wasn't Cadbury, last time he fell into water unexpectedly he refused to leave my side afterwards in case the ground opened up and swallowed him again!
 
Deska did exactly the same thing! -5C and he chased some ducks into the river, then he stood there and expected me to go get him! A hobo nearby said "Lassie needs rescuing".

I can tell you Deska has never chased a duck since, even tho Tully loves to. I doubt he remembers why I think he just associates something really bad with them. So there's certainly hope for Merlin - he may have learnt a hard (and cold) lesson. Mind you if you raise a sheltie with a lab it was bound to happen!
