They may get so sick of me calling them about Miley that just to get rid of me they put her in rescue.
 
THANK YOU for advocating for Miley. It truly would be better to have a rescue group have her, as they will check out prospective adopters, and most shelters do not do that as they don't have the resources. I don't get it, if they let her go to rescue, it opens up a spot for another dog...

You are Miley's guardian angel!

I have no doubt that you have saved her. The pound is trying harder to adopt her out because of you, and will hand her over to rescue if they can't. I'm sure they have a relatively short time frame before they will giver her over to make room for another dog.

I told Michigan sheltie rescue about Miley and it is up to the pound to release her to them. The pound said they were not that full as to have to release her to rescue. Miley would be better in rescue. I don't know why they won't release her to rescue unless they want to recoup some money for her stay there. I would even go so far as paying her adoption fee as long as she went to sheltie rescue. If she is still there I'll drive back down there (80 miles one way) Saturday and see how she's doing. Won't they be glad to see me again.
The pound said they had new potential adopters. Fingers crossed.
 
That's a good thing she is going to a rescue. I am glad she will be with people that know shelties!!!!!!

Please continue to update us on Miley. I bet these "sheltie" people will find her the perfect home!!
 
Miley is in rescue and may be adopted next week. Keeping my fingers crossed for her. I am going to follow her until I know she's adopted.
