Our shelties have never been interested in sleeping on the bed when we're in it because there are CATS up there, and they have 'pointy things' on their feet. So, I guess you need a cat or two

that does not work here...in fact Kiki waits for Suzi to get comfy on the bed, then uses Suzi as a pillow. Zen likes to sleep on my hip ( i sleep on my side) i have thought to go to king size bed, but realized, all that will do is give them more room and i will still just have 5% of the bed

Isn't thaat nice though - he likes your smell more than your wife's.

Im a restless sleeper too so the dogs get the idea that sleeping near me they don't get any rest. The cat tho is a different story.

Sometimes Deska (who usually sleeps next to the bed) will get into my side of the bed and lie on my pillow. And it's just so gosh, darn cute that I admit - I climb into the other side of the bed.
