I like to think that our Shelties who go before us are so free and happy at Rainbow Bridge. For them, it seems but the twinkling of an eye before they see us once more. Time is different in eternity, and the love you gave Penny isn't gone at all. Love is never wasted.
Thank you all. You guys are wonderful and your stories are extremely touching
A lot of times I miss MY Penny (especially when I was at the beginning of the training process with Lola) because I wanted MY well-behaved dog back that didn't go potty on the floor and bark at everything that she doesnt understand, and mostly because she UNDERSTOOD ME (we have a long history). But, as a couple of months passed.. Lola learned more and more. And so did I. I learned that I could have another good dog just like my Penny, but it only takes time. I know Lola will never be exactly like Penny, and I don't want her to be. But I realized that as time passes on, Lola and I will have a history and an understanding with each other too. And that makes me feel so much better
I don't know what I would do if Lola didn't come into my life. I am extremely happy and grateful that we found each other
