Missing Sheltie:

He went missing at 5 pm Wednesday December 28th.
The missing sheltie is a 2 year old sable and white male sheltie answering to the name of Java. He is micro chipped and is an intact male. He has recently been re homed and slipped his collar while being walked by his new owner. His breeder is heading down today or tomorrow morning to help in the search.
He was last seen in the Hillcrest and St. John streets area of Simcoe and was heading south. At last report this little guy was "in the wind". He is a friendly dog, but like most shelties he will be somewhat wary of strangers. Please get the word out to people in the area to watch out for him.""

I won't post the phone numbers but if anyone is interested please PM me. This was posted by the breeder I got Emma and Liam from - she was asked to post on FB even though it is not her dog. Praying he is home safe soon.

Any chance we could get a photo from her? That would really help to get people's attention on FB.
 
Heather doesn't know the dog or the breeder. She was asked to post as he went missing from her area. I will see what I can do about getting a picture we can post.
 
Best wishes for recovery! From our personal experience I would say that involving people that work on the roads- public work, municipal workers, recreational service, community cars is best chance for sighting.
