But all foods is Ian's foods......well almost sometimes the sheepz interferes when I get my foods stored by Spitfire. But spinning and chasing.....

I'm up for spinning and chasing! In fact, Dad just vacuumed the whole downstairs. Boy am I tired!

He loved it, but I can take only so much! Today I vacuumed the whole downstairs and had to yell at him because he forgot himself and took a big Sheltie nip at the crevice tool. I made it up to him later by letting him chase the water from the hose. Now, I could kick him out of the house when I vacuum, but I can't stand to deny him a simple pleasure, so for half an hour he had a blast!

Yup there be ghost and ghouls unseen and unheard by human ears and thank goodness we have out Shelties to protect us and keep those monsters at bay....and from escaping from inside those infernal machines and broom etc.

Way to go Mr Pip so glad you were able to scare away that noisy garbage monsters. I bet it get nervous everytime it has to go past your house-- it knows you will be waiting. Again many thanks Mr Pip ya done good.

On a serious note, I believe that the reasons humans domesticated dogs was for their vigilance, and the ability to be warned of impending danger. Sounding the alarm was eventually hard-wired into their nervous systems, and especially with herding dogs like the Sheltie, whose utility was even greater than simply tending sheep. With a Sheltie, no intruder is going to get within fifty or so feet without him going off. Of course they don't know the difference between a garbage truck and a Tyrannosaurus Rex, or a mop and an anaconda, but that just makes things more interesting!
