My Angel Bambi

This is going to be a rather sad, blue day. This is the 4th anniiversary that my sweet baby Bambi crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I still really miss her, this little baby was the best of the best this wonderful breed had to offer. She was so perfect she didn't actually need me, she just let me stay in her world. If you could pick all wonderful traits about our furbabies that you think would make you the perfect Sheltie and put together your own baby, that was my Bambi. She truly was my best friend, companion, confident and my heart dog. Have good puppy dreams sweet baby, I love and miss you.

I wanted to extend my condolences to you, who cheerfully comments on all Sheltie Nation pictures with a loving eye. I know how that "anniversary" can leave a lump in your throat. Even ten years later, Aug 29 is a crappy day for me every year because of my Angel, Skye.

I think when you've had such a special dog in your life, the day they leave you will always be a hard one.

I am glad you had Bambi in your life to be your best buddy. Have you had any thoughts about opening up your home and heart to another fur friend?

Hugs to you. :hugs

Thank you Sharon7 for your kind words. I would LOVE to have another sweet furbaby, but at this time due to some health issues I am unable to have another right now, I'm not able to do too much walking right now and we know how our babies have to be out and about and into everybodies business. But then they wouldn't be a proper Sheltie and we wouldn't love them the way we do.

I realize the time is some past, but I also extend condolences to you on the loss of your precious Skye, as you said, it is always a hard day.

Sheltie smiles and tail wags to you. :wink2:
