My puppy has fleas!! Using Frontline Plus!

For what its worth, the 2013 update/tweaking is now up on our website. It's a litle long for this venue.
I don't want to break any Forum rules by 'advertising', PM if you want to see our personal opinions on and experiences with the various products.

mmm, I would not consider it advertising and would be interested to know personal opinion of a person who deals with this stuff on daily basis. I have been happy with Preventic collars you suggested earlier and I would not have found/thought of them on my own. Would be interested in PM message if that is forum rules...
 
This has been an amazing read, and I've very grateful you took the time to post all of that, Dr. Mac! My vet sold me on the combination heartwork/flea preventative and would have me on them all year long. But they didn't have anything for the ticks and we had to deal with that ourselves.

It's very helpful to know I most likely won't need these medications year round, and it's also nice to know the differences between all of them finally! Our fleas this year seem to be pretty resistant to frontline. And Advantage hasn't done much more for us. Not that we have many, but Honey gets one bite and she's likely to chew herself to pieces. Now I have a good idea of what else I can try.
