One day you will be able to look at Sweetie's picture and smile, Corinna, honest. It takes a while, but it will happen. Good for you, taking that step and moving forward to fight for her. In the end, that's all we can do. You're a very brave person.

Wanted to check in with all my friends. Im at work sneeking a peek on whats going on. I got a laugh at some of the easter pics. Im glad to hear that Bailey was ok after her meat in the yard incident. Rico is doing well and I am much better today. Buddy got a bath last night and a nail trim so he is his handsome self. The 2 Chihuahuas avoided the bath but after the capture and release nail trim of their talons...lol...are doing well. Today Buddy and I went for yet another walk....He is not going to give up looking for his friend!
Little does he know she is walking with us.

Good morning, Corrina and all the family! Today I got to thinking...with spring arriving, it's a great time to plant a little memory garden. My friend has one that is the resting place of her beloved Sheltie angels. Even if you choose not to place Sweetie there, the renewing blooms can carry memories of the happiest times.

Glad to hear you are doing a bit better and starting to get focus back on the good parts (well and mouse dogs :confused2:). He will probably keep an eye out for her a long time. My brother's dog checks for Dow going on two years now and they didn't live together just visits and occasional weekend visits. Of course he likes Sca now so his focus is gone :biggrin2:

Keep your chin up there will be challenging days like for everyone but things will improve now that you are working in the right direction :yes:
 
I am so happy to hear you sounding better. Buddy will eventually be OK. Keep your chin up. You are doing a great job.

I'm glad to hear that you, Rico, Buddy and the chihuahuas are doing as well as can be expected. Only time will heal, but I am so impressed by your strength.
