NADAC Title Question

For those of you who do NADAC, I'm hoping you can help me. Reading the rules is so confusing.

I started Koji out in Skilled. We got a Q in Jumpers.
I now want to put him in Proficient. Does the Q count towards his novice jumpers title? Or am I basically starting over?

In case anyone ever searches for this and wants an answer. Sharon was nice enough to ask a person involved with NADAC for me.

The answer is "NO!". Basically, I'd have to start over.

Thanks for checking on that for me Sharon. Reading NADAC rules is a PITA.

I have never shown in NADAC and your right the rules are a PITA and my head hurt tried to figure them out.:smile2: Thanks for the info.

I may run in my club's NADAC trial this year, depending on what weekend it falls on. What is the difference between Skilled and Proficient?

As far as I know......

In Skilled, you jump at a lower height (typically 4" lower). And you also get more time, errors, or something like that. The first half I know for sure. The second half, I'm not 100% sure on. I just know a woman told me "why not stay in skilled, it's easier to get titles" as in, I think you can do more things wrong and get away with it. Or you get more time to run. Or something. lol
