Names for agility dogs

I love short names with a meaning and which fits to the dog and its personality.

face got's her name by her breeder, because it was an F litter and her FACE is nearly black (she's a blue merle).

in agility I love DIZZY the medium sized border collie.

DICE is also one of my favorit dog names. for me a dice is mysterios (with many "surfaces") but in the same way so familiar.

a friend of me (breeder) called one of her puppies now (in the pedigree) GOOGLE ME and I gave the intention.

Some of the names at our club are pretty unique. We have a Schroeder, Sky Wokka, Fenix, and one couple has six dogs, all Schnauzers: Doolin, Duffy, Duncan, Dori, plus two older ones who are retired, also with 'D' names.

I think Toffee is a common enough name that you'll be fine. My boss has a mixed breed named Toffee.

LOL
ok, phew.. but around here I get people looking at me when I meet new agility people they say oh... you named him Toffee? lollll
I said, I know I know.. but it's a pure coinicdence I swear!

hehehe, I can't wait to pick out another name for my next dog.. hehehehe
I like my instructor's Borzoi called Love, so fitting, she's a goofy Love.. her breeder name is Kinobi's Love to Curl (breeder is an avid Curling fan)

LOLLL
Floozie, made me laugh too...
especially when I think of portugese water dog for some reason!

There is a breeder around here that hass a sheltie named Floozie.

Being a veterinarian I have heard almost ever name at one time or another. Trust me there will always be someone with a dog with the same name as ours unless it is really different. SO name the dog what you like.

I have never known another dog named Birch yet here Danielle's mother has an Irish Setter named Birch. Go figure.

any other Cranberry's out there?

Dixie is common- there's another Dixie in our club but they don't do any performance sports.

My dog also got name from the breeder and because he was from an A litter, he's officially called Ajsíkjů Leader (read I seek you Leader)... we call him Ajsí (pronounce icy) or Ajs (pronounce ice)... I kind of like it. Especially when I learnt that one of B pupies is called Boeing 737  Icy is good enough for me, lol. Plus I agree about short names - it's very convinient when calling your dog.
