Need help with regression/anxiety

Another thought...are you sure he goes when you let him out? My last sheltie a female was housebroken and reliable, but when she was young she started to pee in the kitchen when I was in the shower. I figured out it was because she was getting distracted outside and forgetting to do her business. I used to have to take her out on a leash to make sure she was doing what she was supposed to. I wish you good luck!

This is why I watch my dogs in the morning - because I want to KNOW they have gone, and not just fooled around out there sniffing after critters etc. I either go out with them or watch from the window.

Meet Roxy’s poop dragon.

This was a tip from our trainer when it seemed she started to have a bit of regression on the outside pooping.

I hype this dragon up that he’s the most amazing fun toy in the world. But she only gets to play with him after she poops outside.

It really seems to have worked. She’s pooping much quicker outside now. Before she was so stinking concerned with sniffing every blade or grass and every snowflake she wouldn’t go.

Now she loves her dragon. She gets to play with it for a bit after pooping and some treats. Then she carries it back in the house. Also helping her to not get distracted along the way so, double bonus.
