Need help with tail chewing

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I'm trying to stay distracted so I don't play it over in my head. Just got back from walking the dogs - plugged in to a talking book. I am so spooked though, and I think the dogs picked up on it. Usually they'll be silly and bark at various things but they were both quiet, made a nice change.
 
Oh my gosh. Caro, I'm so sorry. Keeping yourself distracted is the best thing. I hope your dogs can help take your mind off things. Hugs to you :hugs
