Never a Dull Moment...

Davy chewed his harness last night- anything he can get his teeth on:winkgrin:

I had bought a harness for Oreo that was basically just straps, figuring it would be cooler in the summer. He chewed through it so now he's in a harness with cloth pieces on his chest and back -- probably more uncomfortable but he won't be able to chew through it. Oberon wears one that's just straps; hopefully Oreo can too when he outgrows this chewing phase.

since my first sheltie Callie, they've all worn step in harnesses. Cran chewed through the chest strap when he was young and that's what Davy did last night. he also somehow got his tags off his collar but he might have had help with that- Jocu has been known to remove the tags from the collars of the other shelties............

Almost mandatory for flyball.

We tried flyball... thought it would be a perfect fit and a great way to get rid of some energy. Brodie - he who is obsessed with catching all things - won't put his mouth around a ball that has someone else's slobber on it. I have raised a snob! He's also a foodie who is just now getting to the point where he MIGHT take treats at class from other classmates - he doesn't like other dogs slobber on people's hands either.

Give him his own balls. I have seen other dogs like that. We had one who had his own balls AND she had to clean the hair off (his) at night. Yes he was a prima donna just like his owner :ROFLMAO:
