House breaking a male sheltie
I have a male Sheltie, he is six months old. He sleeps in bed with me and NEVER not once has he pee/poo in my bed. My problem is, house breaking him every where else!! He might go a few days and do so good, then he pees again on the floor. He seems to mostly like to pee on a air vent, of all things. I want him to run the house when we are home and be with us. But we take him out side, he wants to play, we bring him back in, he wants to pee. I do not know what to do. he has went a week or so without messing up, but then he does again. I know soon he will be hiking his leg, and that scares me, I need advise on how to break this. Husband loves him to death, but if I can not break him before he starts hiking that leg, hubby wants him to be a outside dog, I want him in. I have never had a problem training a girl dog, is this a male dog thing? A few of my friends say a male can not be housebroken, but they do not even have a dog. Please help Thanks, Mitzi
