It's distinctly possible that someone on this board had a direct hand in that new form. It's also possible that I didn't get everything I wanted, but I got some of it. The base of the form was designed by myself and with ZeeMarie from Nevada.

What I lost was the repetitive class listing (Regular/Preferred), which I think is a huge waste of space. What I got was a cleaner form, and all of the dogs information in one place!

Master/Excellent will still be the same course, they just renamed Excellent B to Master.

can you get the agility and obedience/rally forms standardized?
I hate that things are in different places..........

So the labtestedonline website allows you to sort by zip code, i.e. 100 miles from 21228, and then save that search. So every time you log in, the list of approved AKC events for that area is presented for you. Then it will show which are open, which are taking AKC OLE, which are taking her OLE (more Mid-atlantic clubs are doing this, I think most of Debbie Kaufmans trials will start in 2013, and Mom is working on her clubs to get them to take them).

If you just want to print the form for a trial, you can do that, and she puts all the pertinent information at the top of the entry form. So no more printing the form, then searching out a premium or on the AKC website for cost and addresses to mail to. It's all right there.

It also remembers which shows you have printed forms for, so you don't double enter. I used her system to enter our clubs Novice/Open trial that is next week. Yes, that means I was too lazy to drive to mothers house with my entry, but the CC fee was only like $2.40 or something, which is cheaper than the gas to mothers house.

We also use her databases for all of our secretary work, which is why I'm surprised it took me this long to figure out she has a most awesome website. Sometimes I'm a bit dense.

I love our trial secretary website.It list all the trial info.

I use it for everything-conformation, agility, rally, and obedience. It has saved all of my dogs information and is super easy. I don't fill out any entries by hand, and just change a few things and sign them.

Y'know, I can't recall why I stopped using this site, but there was something I didn't like about it. lol. Maybe I should go back and look, just for comparison reasons.
Ah, now I see why I didn't like it.

First, I couldn't put the trial numbers on there. Because some trials had different clubs hosting it over the weekend.
Secondly, the prices. There are typically two different prices for first runs and second, but there's no where on the form for that. And since prices are always dependent on the club, sort of, I want to be sure it's on the form.

So Rachael....
since the new form has no spaces for multiple trial numbers, for multiple clubs/dates, does that mean it was never important to begin with? Would I just write, XYZ and ABC club on the club line if more than one is hosting over a 3-day trial. A lot of times, 2 days is hosted by one club and 1 day is hosted by another. or would i need to send in two forms?

I just enter the total price for the weekend. No need to seperate it per run. So if I'm doing 3 days with the runs costing 1 $25 2 $15 3 $12 I would just enter $156.
Do you currently send in different entries for these trials where multiple clubs host the trial? If not, I don't see any reason it would be different with this, so long as the trial secretary is the same.
 
First question: as a secretary, event numbers do me zero good. If you list event numbers, I have to look it up. I changed my herding entry form to drop the event numbers.

Second question: if the clubs are clustered, they probably have one secretary, running one database. Check out the form in the premium to see how they have handled it. We only have one trial I can think of that cluster like you describe, and one secretary handles it all. Most of our trials are three days, one club.

When I sent in entries, prior to LabTested, I just wrote the club name and date at the top of the form. That was it. And club name in BIG LETTERS, because secretaries can have five or six sows at a time open.

The LabTested product figures all the pricing stuff out for you and prints it on the top of the form.
