Welcome to the forum. You pup is very cute. I'm always one for taking your time and find that perfect name. It will be with them for the next 15-18 yrs. I named my first dog on my own Jasmine and 3 weeks later hated the name. So not her. Too girly.:smile2: So I changed it to Jazz. Can't wait to hear what you pick.
 
Welcome Stacey and puppy! Definately dont rush to pick a name (I wish I had waited to name mine). In the meantime you could call him 'good boy' seeing as most dogs seem to think thats their second name anyway!

I hope you enjoy it here,as much as we do.We have two shelties,both under a year old,and they are half brothers.

Our oldest is Trapp,almost 11 months,and his brother is Jasper,almost 7 months.

Can't wait to hear the name you pick out! Our Trapp was named by our breeder,as he presented himself during birth process,as hind feet first,and got himself trapped,so the vets had to assist his mom. So the name "Trapp" seemed to fit.

When Jasper was born,he has the most perfect letter "J" on the back of his neck in white fur.Again our breeder usually picks a "theme" to name puppies.So the theme for this litter of 9 pups,was Emma's Gems. Jasper was givin as a kennel name,but we decided to keep it.

Your new addition is a cutie for usre~

WELCOME!!! You will love the forum! It is great! You will find advice, tips, support from people that are experienced (some of them anyway!!! lol). You will build friendships. We all share a common bond!!! THE BEAUTIFUL SHELTIE! Words cannot express how many times these people have been here for me.

I lost my sheltie of 13 years last spring. I swore: never again. Can't have anymore dogs! It is too sad. I can't bear to loose another. WELL!!! I couldn't bare NOT having one! Within a month I was looking and within 2 1\2 months HAD my precious little one. They fill the void! They love us unconditionally! And we them!
