Hi Everyone,
Thanks for letting me join Sheltie Nation. I am a father of three male shelties two of which are rescues. My Terri and I have had the privilege of having shelties in our life since shortly after we were married in 1989 and they have been in our family ever since. They are a wonderful companion and in our case they are the only kids we can ever have. Once again thanks for letting me become a member.

Welcome to your family! I had Aussies and switched to shelties. No kids between me and my husband either.

My wife and I also have a pull towards rescues. Over the years we have had two. One turned out to be an angel sent for our boys and the other one we have right now. Her name is Claire, sometimes Claire Baire.
As already hinted this is a good place to let your hair down (I don't have that much left so I'm picky on where I do that).
I'm kind of new here too but these folks are great. I use Photobucket to post my pics for the forum here. Pretty easy to set up I build cedarstrip canoes hence the moniker "Woodbender".
