My alert came from Pet food direct through email of course. Pretty cool.
#1. As I stated the company lied to me.
#2. This is their fourth recall.
#3. Wellness puppy food for large dogs was not contaminated.
As I have stated before Diamond places Wellness on the list, not conatminated but pulled because of the Diamond facility. Wellness has their own facility now.
Diamond made it look like all of Wellness food is contaminated. When I spoke to them about Wellness, I stated to enhance their list and explain, and give details. Not to just to put a name out there, to ruin the reputation of Wellness. Oh "G" Wellness is a competitor, lets throw it out there to scare the heck out of people. Doesn't matter what the situation is.
Pet food direct explained why.
For these reasons I am not going to purchase Diamond products. On four recalls this tells me they just got to big for their britches and can not handle this much bulk.
My family pet store has been fantastic about the recall. Yes they are liable, have to be accountable, and responsible. They have passed their test. Yes I did have to have a receipt. Wonders I still had the darn thing. They did tell me not to bring the food back, just pitch it.
Wellness possibly is not a food for every dog, but when I have one check up for my dogs once a year I believe that is saying something for the food.
Lucky has his Fromm for his appetizer! Oh my.
So happy!
