New Things to Learn!

I absolutely loved the advanced training with utility. We never actually competed, but I had trained scent discrimination to the point that she had it.

Nice. Someday I will be training those again. In the US we don't have the wood articles but I taught Justice them because I knew I was taking him to Canada. They where his favorites.:smile2:

UKC only has metal articles so there is only 5 total articles out there. I proofed Justice with my complete set of leather/metal/woods plus 2 extra of leather and metal so I think he learn to work maybe 20 articles. First time I sent him out in comp in UKC, I swear he looked at the pile and then me like is this a joke!

Good luck for your training. Articles are one of my favorite to teach. Someday Birch will be ready but we need to tighten up the plain retrieve yet.
 
Fun! Phebe loves the scent discrimination exercise. We used Janice DeMello's Round the Clock method and it worked great for us.
 
So far, Clancy has made it very clear that he feels metal dumbbells are an abomination upon this earth! :ick

With the help of the clicker and some tasty weiners he will at least pick it up and hold it - with a look of pure torture on his face!

I guess it'll be a while before we even get to the scent discrimination part <bwahahahahahaha>
