Thanks for such a warm welcome. Sorry I have not responded back sooner but I do this from work and cannot always get to do personal stuff.
This weekend was busy, took my rescue foster to a friends house to hold while I trimmed his ears and before that did his nails, he was such a good boy so I dremmeled them too. Then we went to a meet N greet where people can come and visit the rescues. He is a nervous boy as he is not used to people but is coming out of shell little by little. There are several people interested in him so keep your fingers crossed, he is such a sweet boy and needs a special home. Will keep you posted

Thanks for the update!

Please keep us posted on how your rescue foster continues to do. Those meet and greets must be a little scary for a fragile rescue. Thanks for helping him out!

ZZ

Just found your forum, if about shelties it has to be good, I live & breathe shelties. I currently have 3 females, ZZ 12 years semi-retired from obedience with a UD & RE but likes to play with Freestyle & still loves to train. Shaker 9 years agility nut MX & MXJ; Spinner 5 years obedience CD,GN,RN & getting ready for Open & Utility, agility have to brag she went from Novice to Excellent in 6 months & is now working on her MACH. This is saying a lot as this dog has issues which will post about later. I also have a foster sheltie 1 year old male who is with me for training and finding his personality then will find him a forever home. We also pet sit in our home which helps pay for my showing habit, when not at a show, Shaker & ZZ does pet therapy in the nursing home.
I have had shelties for 25 years and they are the best breed in the whole world! I occassionally breed but not often but may get me a new puppy this year if all works out. Oh yeah I also work full time and live in Houston, TX
Thanks for letting me be part of your group.

great to have you here. my spouse says only one sheltie at a time..
we are in south lousiana so it is good to have another Southerner on the forum.
