In order to settle Willow down after dinner, I decided to take her for one more stroll. It was quiet and bright from the moon glow. Here are some of the shots we took.

Who needs a star for a Christmas tree when you can have the moon.

And speaking of moon doggies, here's the original Moondoggie with Gidget, the one and only Sandra Dee.

That second photo would look great in a frame!

oh Glenn sorry i am abusing your thread,
    but I became nostalgic. :hide

Your 1st picture gave me memories of
my daughter painted a picture when she was 13 y (many, many years ago)
of the moon she saw - out of our little kitchen window.

Minnie and I have moved back to the house
and the picture is now hanging in the kitchen again
    - I just had to take a picture of it.

Great pics Glenn!!! Curious - do you carry a DSLR or are those with a cell phone? Willow is ALWAYS beautiful in her pics, but the tree/moon pic is just an incredible shot!

Movie is older than me, but I do remember watching that when I was younger and LOVE that song!!!!

I take most of the shots with my iPhone because I always have it with me. I do have a DSLR and an assortment of Canon lenses that mainly sit idle as the full rig is a lot to deal with when you're walking your dog. Unless I am going out purposely to take photos, I use the phone to capture what I see when out and about.

THat's great! There's no need to worry about what you add to any thread of mine, I'm happy my post prompted some memories of your daughter.
