No progress?

so how exactly do you go about collecting a urine sample??? :uhoh:

Either bring him to the vet, so they can get a sterile sample through his bladder. Or go to the vet and ask for a sterile cup. Then when he's peeing, try to stick the cup underneath him and catch some urine as he's peeing.

The best sample to bring in is the first pee of the day before any food or water. This will give you the most accurate pH reading, which can help determine an infection. I would really try to avoid using anything other than the sterile cup because you want to avoid any type of contamination. Of course sometimes that is impossible and using a laddle is the only option. Just make sure you let the vet know how your caught his pee.

If you catch his pee and can't make it to the vet for a few hours, keep his urine sample in the frig until you go.

Good luck! It sure does sound like it could be a UTI. I would definitely rule that out first. If it's not, you need to go back to potty training 101. Use high value treats for when he potties outside. If you can't keep any eye on him indoors, then crate him. This way he can avoid having accident in the house. Set him up to be successful.

I use a soup laddle, the handle gives you a little length to reach under and the spoon part is big enough to collect the urine. I than transfer it to a clean container.
 I'm sorry, this sounds so funny. Is there a seperate ladle for soup? I know, I'm being a wise*%%
