Congrats Col. Underpants. Look at all those great toys and water buckets you won and such a big blue ribbon. Awesome. Congrats on the RN. Yeah, are you moving onto RA? (we're not, lol).

Congratulations, Chris!!! That is so cool! You must be very proud of Beckon...you'll have to start calling him WonderPuppy instead of Col U. And pick out a wall in your house for those lovely ribbons and all the ones to come. Great job!![]()

Sandstorm here,Colonel Underpants did it! Friday we qualified (#2) and placed third (with a score of 77 -- tough, but equitable, judge). All errors attributable to Mom. Today we scored 100!!! Whoo hoo! We placed second to the fastest German Shepherd ever. But trust me, we're thrilled! We also won prizes both days as high scoring Sheltie and qualifying Sheltie. (Of course, since the entire Sheltie world was at Nationals, we were the only Sheltie, but as Beckon says, "Who cares? More toys for meeeeeee!"
Thanks to all of you for the support as we've journeyed from fear aggression to a Rally title in four months!
Congrats Chris and Colonel Underpants!!! That's quite an accomplishment. If you have any tips for me to help Gypsy get over her fear agression I would love to hear them.
Congrats to you also Rachel!!
THanks so much! I don't know that Beckon will ever totally get past fear. THis weekend, we had Easter guests. We finally had to put him upstairs with Annie Laurie (the crabapple). He just couldn't stop barking and being upset. What the obedience and rally classes have done is help him manage his fear better. He trusts me absolutely when I am at the other end of the leash. He can move through crowds, pass other dogs -- but on his own, he feels alone and unprotected. So we keep working, with never punishment, no reinforcement of the fearful behavior, just slow, steady progress...
