I finally found a decent picture of my 'boys'. These sweet little guys passed away within 12 weeks of each other last fall.

The one on the left is Tiny, he was an old dog when I rescued him about 12 years ago, (His former owner was going to shoot him because he peed in the house!) I loved him dearly and I lost him right around Halloween after over a decade of having him as my constant companion. The one on the right is Waffles, he was only with me for a little over three years, He came to me after wandering in a 'high desert' type area that is near my home. His age was unknown, but his teeth were those of an older dog. My daughter found him huddled in our laundry room (which is accessible from the outside) and the first thing he would eat was waffles, hence the name. I lost my little Waffie suddenly on 12-31-08 and I was devastated, to say the least. It was 10 days later that my daughter brought my baby Aonghus home to me. He came to me at a time when I desperately needed him, and I truly believe that he was destined to be mine.

How sad to lose them so close together. Now you have Aonghus to hold close to your heart!

Suzie your boys were cute! I'm sorry you lost them so close together and totally understand what you went through. I had a beagle/sheltie mix who was 12 and I lost her on 5/2/07. I had a golden retriever that was 14 and I lost him on 6/1/07. That was really tough - then I started adopting my girls. Like you, they were all brought into my life to help when I needed them most. Again, they both were cute and I'm glad that you have Aonghus to snuggle with now!

Suzie, I know how hard that is. We lost our Fancee on December 10th and Angel passed on 1/17, a month later. We also lost Marcus in June a couple of years later, then my Rachie in October.

Suzie, I think perhaps Tiny and Waffles needed to stay together, even at the Bridge. Now they're together, safe and knowing your love for them never ends!

Well said Chris !

Suzie you were blessed to have them and the memories can never be taken from you . Thanks for sharing the pictures of your angels awaiting you at the bridge. Playing with all our Angels.
