Off Leashing Walking.....yes....how to do it right!

That's exactly how I behave with mine. If I see a dog on lead, mine go on lead.

So funny the other day, I was walking with my friend and saw a woman putting her Pointer on lead ahead. So we put our dogs on lead too. When we came level the woman smiled and said "He's friendly just too bouncy, so I put him on lead."

My friend and I laughed and said that is exactly why we had put our dogs on lead! We all felt a bit like numptys!

I was just getting ready to ask, "What the heck is a numpty?" But, I did a quick Google search and found out. I guess that means(for now), I don't have to look like a numpty.

Funny...the Aussie parents said pretty much the same thing.....He's good but he likes to run!

I was so appreciative of that, and I told them so. As I told another dog walker who went by my property the other day. When Indy started to race the property line, seeing the dog coming, she put her dog into a sit to calm her dog. I watched this happening and made a point of going outside with Indy to thank her. Indy behaved and her dog behaved.

Its so easy if people just work with each other.....
