Officially introducing Granite!

Thanks everyone!

He looks mischievious but he's actually a very good puppy so far. He's very active but he also sleeps well, eats well and if you give him some toys, he's totally occupied. Of course Sadie thinks he's her personal plaything. I had to take him away from her twice last night because she was getting too rough with him and he got scared.

the boys regard each other as toys- I'm sure that Dixie wishes that they would both just leave her alone sometimes. I do help her out there every now and then. I have yet to see Jocu scared or intimidated by a larger dog- even the Irish Setter pup (getting close to a yr now) who rolled him accidentally. He's been cautious when she's in full tilt but still chases after her and Cranberry.

awwww he is stunning
you must be so happy :D
The name is awesome, too
I cannot wait to see and hear more about his journey, glad we get to see him grow up through Sheltie Nation!
Welcome to the world of Blue, lol
As Dr Shelli said to me, get ready for the 'he must be an Aussie' comments, lol
Although I have not yet got any with Leo :D

He's our 4th blue merle so I'm used to the Aussie questions. I've had 2 on facebook just in the past 24 hours! ha! It's still less than the Miniature Collie or Lassie questions

Well my Sadie is only about 2 years old and she's a holy terror. She's also about 30lbs and 19" tall so she is much stronger than him and doesn't realize it. They play just fine, but every now and then she'll start bounding around the house and land on him or bite his leg too hard and he screams. It won't be long before he's returning the torture though :biggrin2:

Cran is 18" and 28 lbs, 3 yrs old but still acts like a puppy- has to play with everyone:yes:
He has been great with the puppy and I did tell him that he deserves whatever the puppy does because he was a holy terror to the old dogs when he was a puppy:winkgrin:
I think that Dixie has been tougher on the pup than Cran.

Then there is poor Sca that just gets tortured by Spitfire and did nothing to deserve it :eek2: At least Spitfire will never be as big as him :biggrin2:

Of course Spitfire loved Cranberry at the Sheltie party despite getting run over repeatedly by him and Justus as they zoomed. Never seemed to faze him at all. So possibly the screams it is puppy drama rather than real hurt.
