Oh, Goodness; What Have I Done?

If you're anything like me, your going to freak out, but you'll be absolutely fine. The best thing about doing agility then rally, is how much time you have to think in rally. You'll do great and remember you only need 70/100 points to Q. :) Yup, you'll be fine.

BTW, I know I freaked out and was totally nervous...like my first agility trial. LOL

ahh- but Rally Novice is on-leash :smile2:
And, you can talk to your dog the entire time. Good for keeping their attention on you and gives you a place to channel your nervous energy.

You'll be fine.

We're entered in Advanced A this coming Sunday and Monday. I'm just hoping for a judge who thinks Phebe's occasional barks at me demonstrate her enthusiasm to work.

I'd love to hear an update on how Edan is doing in his Rally class. I know you aren't going to feel ready, but his his 1-2-3 side and fronts been better? Just remember, you can lose 30 points and Q. That means, you can fully mess up 2 stations and have some weird sit/heels. :)

I'm excited for you.....only cuz I am remember what a nutcase I was before my first trial. Or whatever they call them.

Oh my... my stomach is in KNOTS!!!

It's 5 hours before we are scheduled to compete (1:50 PM ET is walk through).

I'm incredibly nervous. We haven't had ANY time to practice over the past 2 weeks because life has just been INSANE for me. I really hate feeling like I'm going to make a complete fool of myself and make Edan look bad.

It's probably not going to be that bad but I can't help but we concerned.

I find Rally so much less stressful than obedience! You're just there to have a good time with your dog :-). Good luck, and let us know how you do!

Tara

Whoever has never had a run where they looked like a "fool" hasn't done any dog sports. If the wheels fall off, just laugh about it. Try to hang in there, because what might feel like a complete disaster, can actually turn out to be a qualifying score if you just try to maintain your cool and keep going.

Lexi did her best to undo me last week end at a sheltie match during a rally excellent run. (right Cheryl?) We actually ended up with a 93....it felt like a 63 to me.

Good luck...deep breath and do your best...The object is FUN!!!!

Well, it's now 11:11am here in CA, so how'd you do? Can't wait to hear the update. I hope, no matter what, you enjoyed yourself and so did Edan. :)
