Oh my Beau is sneaky

The first things I taught Layla, Bitsy and Beckon were "Leave it" and "Wait."
Beau knows "leave it"--just he got the baggy before I even saw what he was doing. He has a good "wait" when placed in one. His moving wait (eg. coming toward me and I call "wait") that is problematic.

Pam maybe you should not take it so "heavy" - it may be that both were equally surprised :o1

Beau is not so old, has much obedience and a Sheltie thinks fast

You just have to be at the forefront of the situation - exactly as we always should be

it's usually our fault if they do something - we do not find right.
Beau thought nice food and self-service :pop
Pam thought :gaah

When we get to think a little, was it a disaster? --- No, just a wonderful fur-kid

Maybe, who knows where he could find food during flyball! No flyball training around me and not sure I am quite cut out for it.

you just need to be able to tolerate very loud non-stop barking- flyball for the handler doesn't require as much movement as agility or obedience:winkgrin:

More than obedience. You need to run from your dog. Well Shelties at least. So go up then run from them, about 10-20 in a day usually. But no you do not need to bark.

You know the dog and handler heel around a 40 x 50 ft ring in obedience?
You don't need to bark but it seems all the dogs do:winkgrin:
