I'm new to conformation showing and in desperate need on a mentor. I'm uk so online is best unless you live in South London! Any offers?
Info: I have a 9 month old Tri male and our first show is the end of June.
 
Is your pup from a local breeder? If so, they will probably be the best source of advice for you. But if not, do you have any local ringcraft classes as they are super for getting ready for the show ring.

which also happens to be my local Branch. There is a meeting at 1.30 this Sunday so it would be great if you coul make it as it is the annual 'Strawberry Tea'. I unfortunatly won't be there on this occasion as I had a prior engagement but if you tell people that you are new to showing an need some help you will find no shortage of willing volunteers. There will be some fun classes including those especially for puppies so you can have a go without the pressure of doing it for real. If you can't make it this time, there is another meeting on 21st July which I'm determined to attend. That is the Garden Party which is always great fun.

I would love to see some pictures and hear more about your sheltie. I have two tri boys of my own and the older one, Revel, came from Eltham - nearly fourteen years ago!!
