I have been updating on Simbas agility training for the past 5 months now. We started training when he was 12 months old after doing a foundation class for young dogs when he was 6 months old (no equipment at all just the basics 
). I asked for advice a number of times on this forum because Simba was acting really nervous at the class, but only when we went near the equipment and got some great tips. Now Simba is 16 months old and has been training for 5 months and he is a little pocket rocket. He zooms around the course, he barks with such pure excitement and joy that I can't help the huge grin that spreads across my face after each run no matter how bad my handing was 
Next weekend we will be taking part in a display at a local festival where I first discovered the wonderful sport of agility last year. It is a 2 day display and will be an all day event with each dog doing about 2 runs a day and then some fun games at the end. I think this will be great experience for the future when we start competing. I think we will probably start competing next year. He will be about 2 years old and will hopefully have gotten over his little fear of the seesaw and also completely mastered the weaves! He will also be officially measured. I am nearly sure he will be on the large side of medium but I doubt he will measure large
I am going to employ my sister to take plenty of videos and pictures so be prepared for a new post next week
