Thank you, 2GoodDogs.
Did you read/hear that the NOC and NRC will be held in St. Louis, sometime in March for 2015?
Yes, you can make it to a future NOC and I do hope to see you competing! You have a wonderful relationship with Justus and it shows in your videos. Just learn to focus and believe in him. I know this sounds easy and there's not much to it but it takes years of training not only your dog but yourself too. One needs the mental strength of an endurance race car driver and the most comfortable shoes on the planet.
I just found another run of Davina's. It's her very last one of Day 1, so it's about 7pm. Dogs were tired and blowing exercises left and right. If you check out:

In the far ring, you'll see a highly experienced team of a bi-black with OTChs galore blow the Directed Jumping. I believe they earned the equivalent of 3 OTChs in one year to qualify for the NOC. That means they trialed 3 full weekends nearly every month! It is obvious that this dog is tired, we've all been trialing for nearly 11 hours by the time this team stepped into this ring. We were all exhausted but this team held it together to complete the exercises with style!

Front ring is Jeannine Rash with her Pap, Nicky. An awesome trainer with a gifted dog. She is one of my training partners. This was her last ring for the night. I cannot speak more highly of Jeannine and little Nicky's stamina!

Far ring is Davina!! She's still bouncing on the Directed Jumping, but her fronts are spot on--no sliding this time! Look at her recall for the Signals, there's no denying that she's running and she's very happy.
We play the game of Obedience because it's fun and the day it's not is when we'll quit.
So, go train. Let your motivation be that you are offering your team partner a fun filled life. Time flys by so quickly and everyone needs to make the most of all the time they have with their wonderful team partner.
