Poor Earnhardt - for a while there he didnt think he was getting any treats, and he sat so nicely and raised his paw for a shake in desperation, lol. Then he is looking in the slide - probably thinking 'can I fit in so I can get some treats'?

And I loved it at the end when Trapp jumped up and copied Earnhardt's begging pose for a treat. He is already picking up Earnhardts cues, that is really amazing. Hope Earnhardt doesnt have too many bad habits for Trapp to pick up.
 
That's a great video Michele, they are having so much fun while learning their tricks and commands!

And by the way....Trapp is by no means overweight..he looks quite lean. Don't worry about his weight, he's a growing and active boy!

You caught that huh.. It would have made a nice still picture,as I viewed it back,I told Brian the same thing.
I did'nt mean to make it look as though I did'nt notice Earnie,he is always willing to shake hands,even does a sit for every meal. I actually just wanted Trapp for a few minutes alone,but Earnhardt wanted in on the fun to.

We've noticed the ques also that Trapp is picking up,I really did not think Trapp would do this so early,and am hoping that he continues,as we do try to instill manners,which for me was important since Earnhardt is so huge,he needed to know what we expected early on.
Even some of the strangest things,like we totally expected Trapp to do his business somewhat close to the back of the house..but no,he follows Earnhardt lead to the farthest corner of the fenced yard every time.:wink2:

I was so hoping you would take a really good look at him.It was one of the reasons why I wanted the video upload. So you think he looks ok to.(thank heavens..cause I was getting worried,he was going to be over weight)

He is quite lean,and I do think he is going to be on the long side also.I will say he was quite the little package to tote around today at the flea market.

We tried walking on the leash,but to much commotion,lots of folks wandering up to pet him. Tomorrow another day,as we are going to the park,with both dogs,and hopefully Trapp will follow Earnhardts lead while walking. And he will forget about the foriegn object that is attached to his neck~:rolleyes2:

So have you seen dogs that would not go near it? Sca REALLY needs more outdoor toys. My previous best buddy Dow was easy, round and squeeky. So we would rotate balls from inside to outside to the garbage (I was still finding them a year after he passed :sadsmile:) Sca has a squeeker and mini tennis ball somewhere but currently his favorite is to haul the pad out of his dog house and play with it :mad:. A Sca castle would rock I am just not sure he would get on it. I also considered another (y'all are a baad influence) but in the summer I cannot take them to Barber when I go so it is a bit much to ask Mom & Dad to watch two Shelties (already they do to much).

So after the ramble:
1 does anyone have a Sheltie that does play castles
2 what other good outdoor toys do you have (I live in the land of no snow so there is not an issue of them getting buried half the year)
