Peas and green beans

Was reading through to see what was what and came across SheltieLuver's experience with peas. May I just add that you are a very funny lady and I found much to my chagrin this past weekend that a dog does not need green beans either, at least my dog does not!!!

She pooped so much I thought there might not be any dog left. It was healthy but so much green bean pipeline we could have been in Alaska.

I am going to stick to the carrots and zuchinni.

Hey everyone, I feed Harper Lee twice daily. How much time between meals would be wise. Just checking here.

Best,
Kate

I feed my dogs twice a day... Once in the morning (ie. breakfast) and then again in the evening (ie. dinner).

The schedule varies depending on how early we're up... but it's usually something like...

7am & 5:30pm
8am & 6pm

We rarely feed after 9am or after 6:30pm.

We feed breakfat between 6 and 7am and dinner is usually right at 5:30 (the dogs don't let us alter the schedule on that feeding )

Lol! That is good to know about the Green beans.
I feed around 9:30 in the am and then around 9:30 in the pm. Yes, it is late, but I don't get home from the job until then. I've never had difficulties with them holding all night, but generally they do have to poop as soon as we get up in the am.

Mine eat around 7:30-8:00 am and 5:30 pm. We do broccoli for all but Layla -- they love it, and it keeps them full and slim!

This is our schedule too. Never thought to give broccoli, I'll have to give that a go at our house!

We feed typically around 7am and 6pm, but there's a lot of variation on that on weekends. He usually does his business around 6:30, first thing, and then again in the early evening. I know feeding consistency is best, but how much it upsets them is probably individual, Beau doesn't seem to mind much when meals are late.

And loool at the green bean pipeline. Beau adores peas but beans don't settle well with him either. Very alarmingly green "industrial waste".
