Pet Food Documentary

We will search it out and watch it. We are so concerned that P & G owns Innova.

And if you want to take an inside look into people food, watch Food, Inc and read, In Defense of Food and The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan.

I just requested The Omnivore's Dilemma at the library based on a recommendation from my Mom. Looking forward to reading it. Earthlings is a good doc to watch also and if you google Earthlings you can watch it on their website for free.

I'll have to watch this at home. Way too long for work. ;)
I saw Food, Inc. It makes me want to be a vegetarian, yet, I wouldn't think for one second they treat that food any better (I know they spray stuff, do things to them to produce better, bigger, better colors, etc). So, it's not any safer.

I guess we all just have to choose the lesser demon that we can live with.

I watched it last night. Very interesting but nothing I didn't already know having studied Nutrition in my Dog Training Course work.

I didn't see the show, but a part of me says "People! Relax!" We all want to do right by our furkids, but these are the same animals that will scavenge our garbage, chew our electrical cords and our underwear....

Sometimes I think that our dogs are built to subsist on whatever they can get into their tummies....we've all seen the miracles of lost dogs and how well they do in the wild.

Are we too neurotic sometimes??????? Heck! I know I am!

You are right, Barb. I know I feed Sandstorm a good dog food, (blue buffalo), the vet says he is a perfect weight, and giving him LOVE and discipline is the best thing!!!!!
